Quick Summary
Once a game starts, you will be shown a number of cards. Pick your 5 favourites that you want to have in this game.
Each round, players will take turns spending 1 minute trying to get members of their team to guess what card they are looking at. The more cards you get your team to guess the better.
If your team guesses correctly, click on the Green Tick, everyone on your team gets a point.
If you want to skip a card, click on the Red X, the card will be moved to the bottom of the deck. And the next card will be shown.
At the end of your minute, the next player takes their turn being the active player.
The round ends when all cards are correctly guessed
There are 3 rounds in total. Each round gets harder.
Round one, you can say anything you want to your team EXCEPT the name of the card.
Round two, you can only say 1 word to your team to get them to guess the card.
Round three, you can't say anything. You can only draw on a canvas. Your team has to guess what you are drawing.
Each round uses the same selections of cards. So as the rounds get harder, all players will become more familiar with the available cards.

Joining a Game

To join or host a game, simply enter the roomcode you will be using. And fill in what name you want to be known as, and click Join Game.
The first player to join a room will be deemed the "Owner". The Owner has special controls and should share their room code with anyone else they want to play with.
Picking Your Cards
Once the Room Owner starts the game, each player will have to choose their cards and click on the commit selection button.
As players start committing their selection, green ticks will sppear next to their name.

Starting a Round
Once all players have committed their selection, the Room Owner can start Round 1 by clicking on the Start Round 1 button.

Playing Round 1
Once Round 1 starts, a random player will be picked as the start player. They will see a "Ready?" button appear.

Once the start player is ready, they can click the "Ready?" button. This will reveal the first card to them, and start a timer on all players screens.

The current player's goal is to get their team to guess the card they are looking at. They can say anything they want EXCEPT the name of the character on the screen. They also should not use that characters initials or any word in the title of the card at all.
Each card will display 2 buttons on it. A Green Tick button, and a Red X button. If the player's team guesses correctly, Hooray! Click on the Green tick. Everyone on your team scores a point. That card is removed from the round. And the next card is shown, ready for you to get your team to guess this next card
If the player's team guesses incorrectly, click on the Red X to skip / pass. The card will be moved to the bottom of the deck of cards. And the next card is shown, ready for you to get your team to guess this next card.
Once the timer runs out, the next player in the room will be prompted to click the "Ready?" button. And the process repeats until all cards have been guessed correctly
Tips / Reminders
All cards have a description of the character on it. If you are struggling, feel free to just read the description out loud (making sure to not say the name of the character). Remember, someone selected this card. So at least 1 person around the table should know what it is.
Don't be afraid to skip a card. If you are struggling to get your team to guess a card, just skip it. You can always come back to it later.
Even if you skip a card, try to remember what it is. It could be that when a teammate of yours has their turn, that same hard card will show up again.
Playing Round 2
The same cards that everyone selected when the game started are all shuffled up
Round 2 plays very similarly to Round 1. The only difference is that the Active player can only give 1 word clues.
So if the card is "The Hulk", you can't say "Big Green Monster". You can only say "Green" or "Monster".
This may seem incredibly hard. But remember at this point all players have seen every card at least once.
Playing Round 3
The same cards that everyone selected when the game started are all shuffled up
The basic flow of round 3 is the same. The active player clicks the Ready? button and is dealt 1 card at a time and tries to get their team to guess the character on the card
The difference is that the active player can't say anything. They can only draw.

When this round starts, and the first player readies up, a canvas appears for all users. Only the current active player can draw. Anything they draw will appear on the other players canvases in real-time.
In the bottom left of the canvas, the active player can change the line color and line thickness.
Other than drawing, the flow is the same. Once all cards have been correctly guessed the final round ends. And the team with the most points wins!
Enjoy!
